身体通常蓝色具黑色斑纹；翅的弓脉位于第2条结前横脉下方，结后横脉10~12条，四边室的前边为后边的1/3~1/2；雄性肛附器非常短小。

Species of the genus are small-sized damselflies, body usually blue with black markings. Wings with arculus just below the second antenodal, postnodals 10-12, the upper side of quadrangle about one third to half length of the lower. Male anal appendages are very short.
