Description. This species is easily diagnosed by its poorly developed psammophore combined with long propodeal spines (> 3x as long as the distance between their bases), mostly monomorphic workers, and coarse, irregular rugae to rugoreticulate on the cephalic dorsum posterior to eyes and dorsum and sides of pronotum.
